We want to make it easy for you to do business with us! The following paragraphs are designed to give you a feel for how we operate and help you get started.
A completed and signed Producer Agreement/Questionnaire, proof of E&O coverage and any applicable licenses must be on file in our office prior to requesting a binder. Please click here to access the necessary contract documents.
Retail agents have no binding authority, nor any authority, actual or implied, to represent or infer to any applicant or insured that they are an agent of Roush Insurance Services, Inc. or are acting on our behalf.
All policy change requests must be submitted to our office in writing in a timely manner. Please reference the policy number, insured name and dba, if applicable. Proof of sale is required to remove coverage for a vehicle.
To initiate cancellation, a Cancellation Request/Policy Release signed and dated by the insured and any lien holder, mortgagee or loss payee must be submitted to our office in a timely manner. Returning the original Insured and Memo policies is also acceptable. Cancellation requests for non-payment of premium to the retail agency or premium finance company must be submitted in writing. Direct Notice of Cancellation may be sent as dictated by policy language and state insurance statute.
Policies of insurance do not renew automatically. It is the retail agent’s responsibility to order renewal. We review all underwriting files 30 to 45 days prior to policy expiration and send renewal documents to the attention of the producer by fax or email. Renewal requests should be directed to the underwriter and must be received in our office prior to expiration of the current policy term to ensure continuous coverage.
All claims should be submitted immediately to our office in writing by fax or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) using the appropriate ACORD Loss Notice. We will notify the insuring company in accordance with their guidelines. Please be advised that we have no claims settling authority - this is the sole responsibility of the company.
An invoice is sent with each binder and monetary policy transaction by fax or email. Each agency receives a monthly account statement by mail. Payment of the total net due is required by the fifteenth of the month as shown on the statement. We reserve the right to cancel policies and endorsements to collect any unpaid balance, and customers with poor payment history may be required to submit payment prior to binding. Down payments may be necessary on some accounts and are required for all policies financed through Imperial PFS. We do not accept insured’s checks. Agency checks should be made payable to “Roush Insurance Services, Inc.” and mailed to PO Box 1060, Noblesville, IN 46061-1060. We do not issue 1099’s because we bill net of commission. Risks that are premium financed through the retail agency are verified by our office, and payment of the financed amount must be remitted to us. All cancellation and endorsement credits are returned directly to the premium finance company with chargeback commission due from the retail agency at the same rate it was originally credited.
